Always thought that these were just souvenir piggy banks. But the authentic name for it is "crested china", developed by William Henry Goss.
Sometimes one has to believe that an educated guess is the right thing to do. So I go for Flora Gouda as identifier for some of my piggy's.
With this type of piggy banks it is not easy to identify them. It took decades before I could decipher a brand of this type of piggy bank.
No hallmark needed: its all over this piggy. From the Spanish islands.
The mould: who has the copyright? I am puzzled..
